Typical bell-and-spigot electric fusion jointing, elastic sealing ring connection, and throttle-type bell-and-spigot connection are used to avoid leakageHDPE pipe with spirally enwound structured wal an extra-large-diameter high-end buried water drainage pipe, is a new kind of safe and green pipe It is a type of profiled structure-wall flexible tubing which has a smooth inner wall, a spiral stiffening b as its outer wall, and rib interface is manufa tured via O-type spiral winding technology It is once-molded by winding with high-density polyethylene
(as shown)in hot melt state. Before demoulding in hot state, it is rolled and cooled in air to allow gradual heat dissipation. The wall thickness is uniform Pipe connection may be a bell-and-spigot electric fusion jointing and a flexible seal ring connection, and throttle-type bell-and-spigot connection. For bell-and-spigot electric fusion jointing, both ends of pipe are processed to bell ind spigot type respectively during product. Electric fuse is embedded into the middle section of inner wall of bell end. PRODUCTION PROCESS
The buried reinforced HDPE pipe wrapped with HDPE has been developed and produced by Newchoice Pipe through processing imported raw materials exclusively for high-density polythene(HDPE)pipes with introduced internationally-leading production equipment, advanced large-diameter pipe making techniques and the technology of molding by thermal-insulated winding of external pipe walls with reinforced frame tubes. The R&D and production departments keep technical innovation and technological improvement in practice and have obtained new product technology patents one after another. Advancement of production equipment and continuous improvement and innovation of technology &techniques are a guarantee for excellent technical performance of products.Polyethylene is heated and molten in main extruder(1)co-extruder(2)A black strap is formed at co-extruder a protective casing is formed at main extruder(4). Sealing for Zero LeakageHDPE winding structure-wall pipe employs bell-and-spigot connection, by which means the ends of both pipes connected are totally fused (fusing surface length 2 6cm)for absolute sealing that assures zero leakage at the connectionDuctility and FlexibilityHDPE pipe is a high-ductility pipe. Its elongation at break exceeds 500%. Due to strong adaptability to non-uniform settlement and misplacement of pipe foundation and good seismic resistance, it is deemed as the most suitable for earthquake-prone areas It is well proven in the world that HDPE pipe has the best seismic resistance among all pipes. It was reported that only HDPE pipes and water supply pipes survived dwning 1995 Kobe earthquake in Japan.
The flexibility of HdPE pipes enables them to be coiled, especially for those with small diameter, thus reducing a lot of pipe fitting Depending on construction requirements, it is easy to change the route of HDPE pipe. During construction, an obstacle can be avoided in allowable bending radius of pipe and hence decreasing construction difficulty.
It shows excellent performance in installation. The pipe is connected by embedding the same material as electric fuse in the bell end. The bell-and-spigot electric fusion jointing technology provides high connection quality.Ring FlexibilityPlastic pipe is flexible pipe. The load-bearing mechanism under external load is totally different between flexible and rigid pipe Before compression failure, flexible pipe may suffer large deformation, but this is impossible for rigid pipe. When external load is applied on a rigid pipe, the load is completely transmitted through pipe wall to the pipe bed at the bottom to generate bending moment in pipe wall. Since the bending moment and stress exerted on pipe wall increases sharply with larger pipe diameter, concrete water drainage pipes with large diameter often need addition of reinforcements. A flexible pipe deforms, in the manner of lateral expansion, before compression failure. The backfill around the flexible pipe can suppress such deformation
(external expansion), that is to say, external load is transmitted and distributed to the backfill around. Consequently, the stress applied in the wall of the flexible pipe under the same external load is smaller, and the flexible pipe and the backfill around it act together to bear load, which is called pipe-soil interaction. It is concluded that it is not necessary for plastic buried drainage pipe to have the same strength and stiffness as rigid concrete pipe and that a plastic pipe can fully meet use requirements when it has reasonable stiffness. This point has been demonstrated by developed European countries in application practices.

HDPE-wrapped reinforced pipe is flexible pipe. It has significant difference from rigid pipe in design. A rigid pipe is usually considered as an independent load-bearing structure whose strength should be enough to withstand all internal and external loads. However, a flexible pipe is a load-bearing structure system formed by both pipe and fill, that is to say, the pipe under load gains counterforce through deforming in a moderate way while extruding the backfill around it. Due to larger area of action, HDPE-wrapped reinforced pipe which relies on pipe-soil interaction has better load-bearing capacity.
In engineering applications of such pipe, the compactness of the pipe bottom cushion and the compactness of backfill decide the load-carrying capacity of the "pipe-soil" system and the radial deformation ratio of the pipe. To assure safe operation of the project, the backfill is required to reach specified compactness (generally, 95%).

SOCKEN-AND-SPIGOT ELECTRO-FUSION JOINT
The PE at the contact surface of bell-and -spigot is heated and melted by fusion heat, and its molecules bind together to be integrated The pipes are thus connected after coolin.
The strength of such connection is consistent with pipe strength. It is resistant to root resistance and tension. The bell is integrated with spigot. The operation is simple and convenient.
THROTTLE-TYPE BELL-AND-SPIGOT CONNECTION
According to the patented technology introduced by Newchoice, the bell mouth or socket is provided with an independent annular ring for mechanical engagement; in addition, seal ring is used for the dual sealing design of zero leakage; the construction is so easy that no third-party equipment is needed; the adaptability of pipe to construction conditions is improved since the construction is available in the case of trenches with accumulated water and rainy days.
